[NFBCS] Jaws OCR in Zoom Meetings

I have never tried that because you would miss what is being said on the
call if you were trying to read a slide someone has put up. What Jaws told
me on my last call was the people who had low band width. I had forgotten to
use the layered command to keep Jaws from speaking which is insert+space+s.
Maybe I am not understanding what you are saying.

Hi all,

In Zoom meetings I find myself frequently using the JAWS layered keys for
window OCR as follows (ins+space, O, W).

 

What appears to be happening though when OCR resolves the window is that
some text that is behind the window is read in.  For example the meeting
information which is typically available when nobody is screen sharing.

 

My question is, has anyone else run into the same problem with OCR?

And does anyone else have tricks for reading what's on a Zoom Meeting (or
other web conferencing) tool?
