[NFBCS] NVDA review mode

Yes, as long as you're using the NVDA+arrow keys you'll be reviewing the screen or the application depending on the review mode you're in. Just use the arrow keys without the NVDA key to navigate normally. Remember NVDA+page-up and page-down will let you change review modes. Also, NVDA+space toggles you between browse mode and focus mode, which is also similar to JAWS cursors and scan modes.

Thanks Chris. I tried this last night, and it worked; I was able to find the info I was looking for.
Do you know if there's a command like the Jaws PC cursor, to get out of review mode, or does it automatically stop once I stop using NVDA with the arrow keys?
Tracy

I'd like to know more about this as well. From what I can tell, you can use the NVDA-key+Page-up and Page-down to change review modes and then
NVDA-key+Up-arrow and Down-arrow to move around in that review mode.
NVDA-key+Screen
review mode seems to be the closets to JAWS cursor mode.

I have read about the NVDA review mode in the manual a few times, and I still don't get it. Is there a keystroke in NVDA similar to "route Jaws to PC", after which I can cursor around and explore the screen, then use another keystroke to return to what Jaws calls the PC cursor?

Or can someone recommend somewhere to read about the NVDA review mode that explains it better than the manual?

Tracy
