Hi.
Switching between Orca and Speakup happens automatically when you
switch terminals.

Orca and Speakup do completely different things. Without going into
too much detail, the graphical interface is a separate application
that runs on a tty. Linux is usable without the graphical. Speakup
does the job of reading the console very well. Orca does the same for
things that need a UI.
You can use a terminal from within the graphical interface, but I
prefer using the text console with speakup.
