thank you Curtis,

i have always, always, always always used the method of hitting Enter
key after typing my file in the document save dialogs.

In outlook though, I have seen this though for saving items and
attachments. But again, doing in that way works. One can also press
Alt+N to get to the File name: edit box if not already focused on that
area. If I want to save to another folder, I hit Alt+D to get into the
Address bar, typing in the path or part of it, like "Downloads" or
"Documents", hitting enter, tabbing once or twice here and there,
hitting Alt+N to get to the File name box, typing, or when focused in
the File Name box, pressing Shift+Tab a couple times till I get to the
file and folders structure. Then Alt+N after finding specific folder and
then Enter key.
