[NFBCS] MS Outlook Classic and Gmail Accounts?

My experience is slightly different. I actually have five email accounts in one Outlook Classic profile. All email accounts do synchronize automatically, at least for me. Perhaps Outlook likes me better than Curtis.😊 Also, pressing the F9 key when in an account will synchronize all email accounts in the profile.

Best Regards,

Hi Jim:

Do you have the two accounts hung under the same Outlook Profile? If so, then you have to at least be in the Inbox for each respective account for synchronization to happen.

At least, this is my experience with Outlook Classic. I won’t say anything here about what Microsoft calls the New Outlook. That branch of trial and error is still very much in the trial and error phase😊.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Subject: [NFBCS] MS Outlook Classic and Gmail Accounts?

Greetings!
Does anyone know what might be happening when trying to connect a Gmail account to Microsoft Outlook classic using Office 365? I tried connecting two particular Gmail accounts to a different computer than my primary one. It is a smaller computer that I want to use for things like travel and anything else where I don’t need my full workhorse. What I noticed was that after connecting them to Outlook, I’d do things like delete or send messages, and it would only happen when I’d close Outlook and reopen it again. I thought perhaps one account might have an issue, but two different ones (used for different reasons) is questionable.
What do I need to do with either Outlook or those two accounts? And, I don’t want it to affect my primary workhorse computer, which has those accounts and works like a champ! Finally, I am using JAWS 2026.
Thanks for any advice or instructions.
Jim
