Curtis,

This is most helpful, thank you very much!

Ty,

As brainy as you are, it made me feel better that I was not the only one struggling! Thank you for helping me feel not quite as dumb. I mean, I’m still not taking home any trophies, but it was good to feel validated.

Joe

Hello Joe:

“Does anyone have tips on navigating the back end of that dumb platform? I swear it takes two maps and a lantern just to find and download basic things like recordings and transcripts.”

I have had more than five years of experience participating in and managing the platform for Zoom meetings. Many Zoom features are best accessed through the zoom.us website. For example, I find it much simpler to set up meetings by visiting the site zoom.us/meeting <https://zoom.us/meeting> .

To see the recordings you have created in the Zoom cloud, visit the site zoom.us/recording <https://zoom.us/recording/> .

If you want to get directly to the signin page, visit zoom.us/signin <https://zoom.us/signin#/login> .

I agree that the actual Zoom Workspace program on a Windows computer has become more complicated than many of us would like it to be. I would add that I find the Zoom Pro scripts for JAWS from Hartgen to be incredibly useful if one plans to host Zoom meetings.

Brian Hartgen is a very good trainer and script writer.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Does anyone have tips on navigating the back end of that dumb platform? I swear it takes two maps and a lantern just to find and download basic things like recordings and transcripts. Naturally, you have to first activate a bunch of things before they work. Oy, maybe I'm the moron. Anything's possible.
