 La Asociación Nacional de Estudiantes Ciegos se complace en anunciar
que organizará un programa de mentores como parte de las actividades
para los estudiantes de la convención nacional 2013 de la Federación, que se 
celebra en
Orlando, Florída, desde el 1 hasta el 6 de julio. Estaremos haciendo 
emparejamiento de estudiantes
con mentores de uno-a-uno con experiencia en

convenciones nacionales y, de ser posible, compartir intereses profesionales 
y otros intereses.
Sé que esto suena muy bien. Pero, para que funcione, ¡necesitamos su 
participación!



 Estamos buscando personas que estén interesadas en tener,

o en desempeñarse como mentores a un estudiante durante la semana de la 
convención. Cuándo
se hace selección de los aprendices, vamos a dar preferencia a los 
asistentes novatos

que van por primera vez a la convención. Pero si hay espacio suficiente, nos 
gustaría abrirlo
para aquellos de ustedes que ya han asistido a una convención también.

 Con el fin de ser un aprendiz, debe:

 Ser un estudiante de tercero o cuarto año de la secundaria, o de una 
universidad actual o
estudiante de posgrado  (estudiantes no tradicionales son bienvenidos), y
 Estar disponible para asistir a una reunión de bienvenida con nosotros, el 
lunes, 1 de julio
desde 6:00 pm, hasta 7:30 pm.

  Con el fin de ser un mentor, debe:

 Haber asistido a al menos una convención de la Federación antes;
 Estar en una universidad actual o ser estudiante de postgrado, o si se ha 
graduado en
los últimos dos años (los estudiantes no tradicionales son bienvenidos), y
 Estar disponible para asistir a una reunión de bienvenida con nosotros el 
lunes, 1 de julio
desde 6:00 pm, hasta 7:30 pm., y luego, estar dispuesto a pasar algún tiempo 
con su
aprendiz durante toda la semana.
