Asociación Nacional de Estudiantes Ciegos, NABS, necesita tu ayuda

Hola compañeros:

Como probablemente saben, en el 2015, el Seminario de Washington de la 
Federación Nacional de Ciegos está a la vuelta de la esquina. 
Probablemente ya saben que el Seminario de Washington
es la época cuando visitamos nuestros representantes en el Congreso a 
fin de educarlos acerca de la legislación que las personas ciegas 
necesitamos para vivir la vida que queremos.
Lo que no pueden saber, sin embargo, es que el Seminario de Washington 
también proporciona a nuestros músicos con una oportunidad única para 
mostrar nuestro talento mientras que ellos brindan apoyo
a la labor de una de nuestras divisiones más fuertes.

Cada año, la Asociación Nacional de Estudiantes Ciegos, NABS, tiene un 
NABS Café en el Seminario de Washington en el que Federacionistas pueden 
disfrutar de comida, bebida, entretenimiento en vivo,
y mucha diversión con los amigos en un ambiente informal. Este año, 
estamos llevando a cabo nuestro NABS Café el martes 26 de enero desde 
8:00 hasta 12:00 am. y necesitamos tu ayuda
para hacer posible el evento. Estamos buscando un puñado de músicos que 
puedan hacer una interpretación y tocar 2 o 4 canciones como música de 
fondo en vivo durante todo el tiempo en la cafetería. Todos
los estilos de música son bienvenidos; Sin embargo, estamos buscando 
promover un ambiente distendido y relajado, que sea divertido para toda 
la familia.

Hello Fellow Students:

As you are likely aware, the 2015 National Federation of the Blind 
Washington Seminar is right around the corner. You probably already know 
that the Washington Seminar is the time when we visit our Congressional 
representatives and educate them about the legislation blind people need 
to live the lives we want. What you may not know, however, is that 
Washington Seminar also provides our musicians with a unique opportunity 
to show off our talent while supporting the work of one of our strongest 
divisions.

Each year, the National Association of Blind Students holds a NABS Café 
at Washington Seminar in which Federationists can enjoy food, drink, 
live entertainment, and lots of fun with friends in an informal setting. 
This year, we're holding our café on Tuesday, January 26 from 8:00 
PM-12:00 AM, and we need your help to make the event possible. We're 
looking for a handful of musicians who could play a set of 2-4 songs as 
live background music throughout the café. All styles of music are 
welcome; however, we're looking to promote a relaxed, laid-back 
atmosphere which is fun for the whole family.

If you are interested in participating as a performer in this event, 
please send a video or audio file sampling your music to Kathryn 
Webster, NABS fundraising chair, at kathrynwebster.nfb at gmail.com

determine whether your music will work for this setting, and will get 
back to you within a few days with a decision. Also, please spread the 
word to any other musicians who are attending Washington Seminar and who
