el 15 de octubre de cada año. Este año, tenemos mucho que celebrar—como

a 6.742 personas ciegas

He tenido la suerte de conocer a miles de Federacionistas y he aprendido

fact that your support helped us distribute free white canes to 6,742 
blind people this past year.

Here’s what one of our members shared about learning how to be a 
confident blind person using the long white cane:

    /I’ve been fortunate to meet thousands of Federationists, and I’ve
    learned a great deal from so many of them. A Federationist put a
    long white cane in my hand for the first time and taught me how to
    use it. Federationists showed me that independent air travel is not
    only possible but easy. Federationists helped give me the confidence
    to move, alone, across the country to Maryland, and helped me get my
    first federal job./

Your contribution will fund things like free white canes and programs 
that help blind people explore their communities with confidence and 
freedom.
