Subject: [Rehabnet] Breaking News: Senate Passes 2009 Omnibus Appropriations

 

The Senate has passed the $410 Billion  FY 2009 Omnibus spending bill. Since
the House has already passed the legislation, it will now go to President
Obama for his signature. The legislation contains the appropriations for the
public vocational rehabilitation program for FY 2009, including a cost of
living increase. The federal government had been funded for FY 2009 through
a series of Continuing Resolutions.
