[Nfbf-l] Newsline changes

Just to clarify Sherri's clarification, the toll-free number is free to callers. The NFB of Florida pays a little more when someone uses the toll-free number compared to a local access telephone number.
However, our main concern is that you keep using Newsline at no cost to you. Again, the toll free number is 1-888-882-1629. Happy Listening and stay informed.

Just for all in case my information was misleading, the toll-free number is
ALWAYS available. It just raises the communications bill a little for those who
have lost their toll-free numbers, but there is still free access to Newsline.
Hope this clears up things.

> Thanks for the information Sherri! I guess someone will need to market for
more corporate or government funds to cover these areas that are being
eliminated. If we don't, I can't imagine anyone wanting to call long
distance every day just to hear a paper or magazine! I know my Veteran's
definitely won't! Kirk

>>> Be aware thae that there are two other options subscribers can
use. For those in Pinellas County, you can use the Tampa local number which will
still be in effect. That number is 813-549-0004. For those who have unlimited
long distance, the national number can be used to save the program the toll-free
charges. I don't have that number in my head but it can be obtained by
choosing option #1 from the main menu. HTH!
