Hi David,
You know, I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn't heard anything from
you on the list for ages. I was getting worried. I'm just so excited that
you have your first guide dog and like Sherrill, I think Jack is a cool
name. I just hope things go so well for both you and Jack. He's a big boy
and that's usually the desire of most men I think. I've had two golden Lab
crosses now. Rosie was my first and she is golden and resides with my
daughter. She's 12 now. Davey is my present, beyond wonderful, guide and he
is black. Davey is my first male dog and we are joined at the hip. I got
Davey when Tom was so ill.
It will be good to hear more news about you and Jack. Yes, you do have a
challenge working him into your home with three other dogs. The best advice
I can give is to just focus on Jack because you are now his world.
Take good care and do send my love to Donna.

Kathy

Dear All,

Welcome back Sherrill,

I hope you enjoy your new guide dog.
I too, just returned from Southeast Guide Dog this weekend with my new guide
dog Jack.
He is a drop dead gorgeous 74 pound Goldadoor.
He is my first guide dog and I still have much to learn about using a guide
dog. I face the added issue of integrating him into my household of 3 other
dogs. It is going to be a challenge, but we are going to do our best.
Good luck and again welcome back.

David Evans and Jack.
