Maybe that would be a good selling point to members.  They could give
themselves a gift by only spending $5.

This fundraiser was voted to recommend to the Board for a vote by the

The Happy New Year! Raffle has a cash prize of $1000
All proceeds go to our affiliate
A limit of 500 tickets would be sold.
Each ticket is $5.00
Chance of winning is 1 in 500
Can raise $1500 for our affiliate
Tickets to be distributed at the Leadership Retreat
Drawing either 12/31/09 or 1/1/10

I’ve already talked to a few interested people. 
If every Florida member bought one ticket this fundraiser would be almost
done. 
Pay off some of your Christmas bills
Give as Christmas gifts.
