Calling all Federationists

I'm sure I don't have to tell you how the economy is affecting our fundrasing efforts. One area we really need to target is grants.
Our affiliate needs your help. Do you, or someone you kow have any experience with grant research and/or writing? Even if you don't now is the time learn. Frankly, grants are not my area of expertise, but I'm not going to let that stop me. I know this is tedius work and the few I've talked to just don't have a lot of time to commit. So here is what I'm asking until we come up with a better plan. I'm asking volunteers for 2 hours a month minimum. I uould like most experienced to train the researcher on where to look, what to look for etc. If we can't get 4 people working 10 hours a amonth, let's try 20 people working 2 hours a month. Wouldn't it be a great feeling, if you found or wrote the grant that helped fund transporation to convention, or helped expand Florida Newsline services? I'm sure there are some chapter projects that could use some grant funding as well. I cannot stress enough how much this would mean to all of us. If you would like to volunteer, please contact me. if we all work together, we can make things happen.
