[Nfbf-l] Update on Gloria

Fellow Federation Family members,

 

I just wanted to let you all know that Gloria Hicks underwent her fifth eye
surgery in the past several months, today. The doctor put in a new cornea,
took out the problem-causing implant, and did some other cleanup. This
operation should help her regain some of the sight that she had lost over
the past several months. We are hoping for the best. She will see the doctor
tomorrow to have the patch removed; we will know much more then.
