[Nfbf-l] Update on Gloria

Hi Dan,
Somehow your update on Gloria landed in my junk folder so I am just reading
about her recent surgery. She has been struggling with sudden loss of vision
and I know it has been difficult. Like others I pray that some of Gloria's
vision will be restored as the result of the surgery. Please send her my
love.

Fellow Federation Family members,

 

I just wanted to let you all know that Gloria Hicks underwent her fifth eye
surgery in the past several months, today. The doctor put in a new cornea,
took out the problem-causing implant, and did some other cleanup. This
operation should help her regain some of the sight that she had lost over
the past several months. We are hoping for the best. She will see the doctor
tomorrow to have the patch removed; we will know much more then.
