Well, Gina, we could invite the Greater Orlando Chapter to join us in St.
Augustine and have a district convention. What a hoot! It will be lots of
fun.

Kathy

Well, we could draw straws, and leave behind 4 people from each chapter to
form the St. Augustine Chapter.LOL
I forgot to mention. We have about 30 people going, and might pick up a few
more before next weekend. Look out St. Augustine, here we come!!!!!

Hi Gina and Joe,

Hey, while you are vacationing in St. Augustine, would you mind starting an
NFBF chapter up there? We don't have one, and could really use one.

Just kidding. Enjoy your time off.

I'm not kidding about the fact that we need a chapter in St. Augustine, but
that will take some time and plannind.

Dan

I had a great time as well.
I have never been a part of another chapter, nor visited one.
There were a few things done in the Daytona meetings that I would like our
chapter to try. I recommend, if at all possible, a visit to another chapter.

I especially loved the spacious private meeting space.
Lenora did an excellent job with her talk about the parents division. She is
extremely knowledgible with issues that parents of blind children face and
resources to help their children.

I am looking forward to next week in St. Augustine. This will be our first
official NFB Day Off. We work hard for the NFB, so we deserve some fun time
too. This will give us the opportunity to bond socially and boost chapter
morale. This can also help with recruitment since some may be attracted to
the fun activities. I am so glad the Greater Dayona Chapter decided to join
us.
