Subject: [Nfbf-l] question about internship and Division of Blind services

Hello all. Center for Disease Control (CDC), a federal agency in Atlanta,
Georgia, made me an internship offer some 15 days back. I was initially a
bit reluctant due to family reasons, but I now find myself inclined to take
it. If I join, it will be on June 21. The internship will be for 90 days. Of
course I will negotiate with them about attending NFB convention in July.

My query is, can I expect some support from DBS? If so, in what ways? Can I
expect them to pay for my housing and airfare? I will appreciate if someone
could guide me to the relevant DBS policies. I couldn't find anything on
their website about internship. All they talk about is internship at DBS.

Thanks in anticipation for your responses.

Best regards

Tara
