[Nfbf-l] entertainment for our state convention

Hello everyone
What do we want to do for entertainment after the auction and the banquet? 
I'm going to toss out a few ideas below as a starter, and see what we come up with. Keep in mind, some things may not be possible to arrange. We have a budget and time restraints. We have two nights to work with on. 

Simply social. Have some nice music, keep the bar open, and have some tables set up. Time to sit and chat and get reacquainted with old friends and make new friends. Maybe we could have piano player come in and do some type of name that tune for those who want to participate. We could even sing along as well. 

Comedy. a setup similar to the above. Bring in a TV and DVD player and listen to a comedian. Lots of laughs is always fun. 

Game show. I thought of the Newlywed game, but sure I'll get more suggestions on this. Questions could be sent in by members. This could be funny, and possibly increase our room nights. LOL


Dance. We could have a dance, and have dance instructor come in for those who would like to learn a new dance. 

Trivia. We did this in 2008, and it was really fun. We may not be able to get a professional though.
