Peter
This is annual event is where we reach out to the entire blind community and ask nothing in return.
We enjoyed having all of you there. We were also happy that NFBF Secretary, Sherri Brun, joined us.
We had 95 in attendance. We had four inquires about becoming chapter members.
I am very proud of our chapter for working together to make this picnic as successful as it is.
Attendance is growing from year to year.
What a great day of food, fun, and fellowship!
It is a lot of work, but when you know you've given people an enjoyable experience to remember, and they walk away gaining a new friend, it is worth it.

Joe & Gina,
There is a song by Black Eyed Peas called “Where isthe Love” check it out; Jean Marie and I plus seven students from the DaytonaBeach Rehab Center for the Blind andVisually Impaired found “Love” attending the Greater Jacksonville Chapter ofthe NFB annual picnic held at Cuba Hunter Park community center. This past Saturday’s spring time spectacularwas filled with a lot of fun, food and friendly camaraderie. My group really appreciated your genuinehospitality and continuous gracious display of affection.

I want to give Joe and Gina a big warm thank you forallowing the students from the center to participate and for sharing anatmosphere filled with friendship. Greatbig Thanks to Lenora, Larry and Eric as well as all the chapter members whogreeted us with smiles and kindness. Ifyou ask me “where is the Love” I’d have to say “Jacksonville.”

Love you all,
Peter Cerullo
Vice President
Greater Daytona Beach Chapter NFB
