[Nfbf-l] re joined nfb applying for jobs

Hi

Well since Jody helped me get my resume in order she said I could start 
applying for jobs. so I did just that. I was up until 3:30 in the 
morning friday night applying for jobs in Tampa and other cities in 
florida on various job sites. mostly pc support technician and help desk 
technician jobs. But tomorrow I'll start applying also for network 
technician jobs as well. The longest part of the process can be weeding 
out the jobs I'm not really qualified for. But if I feel I have most of 
the skills a particular job wants or I feel I can learn skills quickly I 
go ahead and apply. at first I focused on the tampa area. but then 
decided I better broaden my horizons and apply in jacksonville, orlando, 
and miami as well. There are a lot of jobs out there if you know where 
to look, and in the computer field there are many. The good thing is, I 
only need to be accepted for one job or career out of the many which are 
out there, and then keep the job which I'm pretty sure I will be able to 
do. so I'm taking a break today and will continue applying tomorrow.
