I heard someone give an eloquent talk the otherday, titled “Three Wishes.” This remarkablebright light that shines over Daytona Beach is a very special lady known tomany as Cathy-Alice Koyanagi; she was poised in effective articulation, with aconcise message, clear in the delivery and not distracted one bit by the many interruptionsthat took place as she gave her presentation. Cathy-Alice is currently a studentat the Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. There were twenty-three people in attendanceincluding the owner of the Restaurant Mr. Elias who had tears rolling down hischeeks as Cathy-Alice connected with a collective tender moment touching our heartsand expanding the depths of everyone’s imagination. I appreciate Cathy-Alice’s sincerityespecially in the mentorship of the younger students at the center, herfoundation is sturdy and her guidance is focused. Thanks for the heart to hearttalk, as I am privileged to have made your acquaintance.
