Hi Everyone,

The Gainesville Chapter met Saturday, May 14, 2011 and held elections for 2011.  We have had many challenges over the last months.  We filled 5 of our 7 positions.  These dedicated and valued members will assume their positions at our next chapter meeting June 11, 2011.  We are encouraged that as we continue to grow in membership and teamwork, we will be able to fill the 2 vacant board seats.  Please join me in congratulating them!

We welcomed another returning member, Marion DeBusk, back to our chapter yesterday.  Our membership has grown to 14.  Gainesville and the surrounding area has many transportation/travel challenges, but I am confident that these challenges can be overcome.
