Hi, Kathy.  

Good to hear from you.  I went to City Island Library in Daytona Beach.  

The brief problem resulted from the poll worker transposing my precinct
number.  At first she said the county council districts had been changed,
which is correct but I said my sample ballot told me I was in a different
district than the ballot was presenting, which I also knew from my new
registration card.

Here is a reminder that you have today, tomorrow and Saturday to participate
in early voting for the primary as well as Tuesday at your precinct.  Please
remember to make your voice heard.  

 

I went to my early voting site yesterday and the process went pretty well
eventually.  I had to retry when the machine was programmed for the
incorrect precinct at first.  It took a few minutes to cancel the original
ballot and the machine had to be turned off and then back on before the card
was reprogrammed and things then went without incident.  

 

So that's an item to remember to watch if you are using the accessible
machines.
