I have it through Verizon, but I still want a service like Tell Me.

I think that other carriers besides AT&T offer free directory assistance.
You might want to check with your provider. Also, you can go to
www.whitepages.com on the internet and find anyone or any business listed
with directory assistance. Even Google sometimes work. It can be interesting
to google your own name.

I have AT&T and I get free directory assistance. Of course I had to send in
appropriate information indicating that I am blind.

I called 1-888-555-8355 it isn't working any more if you need phone numbers
you can use 1-888-373-3411 888-free411 & if you have phone with at & t you
can press *8 and send and you will have the news weather sports and other
categories.
