I have been a listener to an Internet radio station, Mushroom FM for almost 
two years now. It is a great station headed by Jonathan Mosen and many other 
blind an visually impaired presenters from throughout the world. The radio 
station is now launching a second station which plays old time radio

Mushroom Escape Arrives Tonight

Over the two-year history of Mushroom FM, we've seen a lot of changes. Of 
special significance was the migration to our own dedicated server, a move 
which has meant that we are much more in control of our own destiny than we 
ever were before. One of the things this means to you, the listener, is that 
we now have the potential to start a second radio station, if we so choose. 
Well, we have so chosen, and that station is called Mushroom Escape. It 
makes its debut tonight, April 30th, at 6:00 PM Eastern. What is Mushroom 
Escape? It is a place where you can go to catch the very best of radio 
comedy and drama. You will hear a wealth of material from radio's golden 
age, as well as some of the more current projects that have taken advantage 
of improved audio technology to provide stunning sound and effects. You may 
well point out that there are a lot of old-time radio sites out there, and 
you're right. So what is the Mushroom Escape difference? Well, for one 
thing, we're not a random computer-generated station. Our programming is 
hand-selected, and presented in a weekly schedule you can count on. You here 
a show you like, and you know that next week at the same time, you'll hear a 
show from that same series, as likely as not the very next episode. We want 
to recreate the experience of you being able to tune in to your favorite 
program each and every week. Also, we are not country-specific. We have 
programming from around the world, and a minimum of 25% of every single 
day's programming comes to us from Britain. The excitement starts at 6:00 PM
