The Department of Justice has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM)
proposing to amend the ADA Title III regulations to require movie theaters
to show movies with closed movie captioning and audio description so those
with hearing and visual disabilities can better access the movies. These
proposed rules are now open for public comment through September 30th. You
may submit comments, identified by CRT Docket No. 126 or RIN 1190-AA63, by
any of the following methods:
