I remember hearing ads for that penpal magazine on Blind Matters Radio Show. 
With the Ziegler gone, I guess that's a replacement for their column.

blind penpals.  This magazine is dedicated to members of the
blindness community who are looking for new friends.  To

mail dot com.  The magazine comes out on the first day of each
month.
