Hello all,

Please share the following with those you know who use the Newsline®
service. This regards accepting terms of use for using Newsline®. It is a
one-time action that will need to be done by all users. If you have any
questions, please contact me at 800-603-8578 or e-mail me at
floridanewslineinfo at gmail.com. Thank you.

The following is from Scott Whyite, Newsline® director.

You are receiving this communication because you are subscribed to the
NFB-NEWSLINE audio information source.

This is Scott White, Director of the NFB-NEWSLINE service. Recently it has
come to my attention that some of our subscribers have been engaging in
activities that violate our usage policy.

Specifically, some NFB-NEWSLINE subscribers are recording articles from the
NFB-NEWSLINE service on telephone chat boards via three-way calling which is
making NFB-NEWSLINE content available to non-subscribers. The rebroadcasts
of NFB-NEWSLINE content in any manner is strictly prohibited and is in
violation of our usage policy. Any subscriber disseminating content from
NFB-NEWSLINE to any person or persons must immediately stop this activity or
run the risk of having their NFB-NEWSLINE account restricted or terminated.

Please note that this restriction does not apply when you are conducting a
brief live demonstration via a three way call with a potential subscriber in
order to show them how they too can enjoy and benefit from NFB-NEWSLINE
service.

I have also observed some NFB-NEWSLINE subscribers sharing their private
identification and security codes with either friends or other family
members. The codes that you are issued when your application is approved for
NFB-NEWSLINE service are for your individual use only and should not be
shared with another person for any reason. Even if you feel the other person
will be eligible for the service, instead you should tell them to contact us
at 866-504-7300 for more information on how to sign up for their own
personal account. The sharing of NFB-NEWSLINE subscriber codes is in
violation of the usage policy and any subscriber found to be engaging in
this activity runs the risk of having their NFB-NEWSLINE account restricted
or terminated.

Given the recent events of this week, I thought that it was prudent to take
the following action. All subscribers using the telephone and online web
site access methods will have to agree that they have read and understand
the conditions of service outlined in the above e-mail that was sent out
yesterday. the procedure outlined in the below paragraphs should be put into
place this afternoon.

Telephone users:

Subscribers using the telephone access method will be presented with the
conditions of service agreement after they log into the NFB-NEWSLINE system.

At the conclusion of the reading of the Conditions of Service, subscribers
will be given an opportunity to accept or decline the Conditions of Service.
Subscribers that accept the Conditions of Service will be immediately passed
through to the main menu. Subscribers that decline the Conditions of Service
will have their call disconnected and will be given the opportunity to
accept the Conditions of Service on their next call.

Web News on Demand users:

Online users of www.nfbnewslineonline.org will be asked to accept or decline
the Terms of Service agreement when they log into the web site.

Both telephone and Web News on Demand users will only experience the request
to accept or decline these agreements one time per access method. Future
telephone calls and web site logins will act as normal after the subscriber
has accepted these terms.
