[Nfbf-l] State Fundraiser - NFB Florida

Hi All,

The next state fundraiser has been approved. Most chapter and division presidents have
been notified except for a couple that I'm having trouble getting in touch with. With the exception
of Gainesville, Pinellas, and Deaf-Blind Division, everyone, including Daytona has received their
tickets for the "Cash for Two" state fundraiser. The tickets are being sold for $5 each or 3 for $10.
The drawing will be held at national convention in July. There will be two winners with the prize pool
being split up between the two winners. The other half will be split between the state and chapters/divisions.


Bill - tickets for Daytona Chapter were sent to Peter Cerullo two weeks ago and he should have them.

Judy - So sorry I was not able to call you last night, I got home late. Will give you a call today.

Dan - when you have a moment, could you check the address for Joe Naulty? I got those tickets back as undeliverable.

Hopefully Larry Ball and I will connect soon. We've been playing phone tag. 



So, who's ready to sell some tickets? The chapter or division who sells the most tickets will receive a room for the
next state convention!! So let's get selling those tickets!

Hi, Judy.  

As far as I know nothing has been finalized on the next state fund raiser.
I remember hearing there might be something in the works to be drawn at the
national convention.  

Perhaps the state board members know what is up, or else this would be a
worthy subject for the next board meeting.  

If some announcement is forthcoming, I would think it would appear here on
the email ist even before anything was sent by postal mail to chapters.  

At this point I would just say stay tuned for further developments.  I hope
your question and my response will prompt some timely action.

At the Gainesville Chapter board meeting Wednesday night a question was
asked about the state fundraiser raffle status. Does anyone have information
about the status of the tickets? No one in our chapter has received anything
in the mail and we are trying to determine if information has been lost in
the US Mail.
