Good Sunday afternoon.

About a month from now we will observe White Cane and Pedestrian Safety Day.

I wrote some slogans which might be useful in various forms of communication
to get our message across.

They appear below. See what you think of these and feel free to use them if
they seem appropriate.

White Cane Slogans

Hit and run; good in baseball, bad in driving.

Pay attention, it only costs a moment.

A rushed right on red could make someone dead.

Beware of the dog that guides even in fog.

The white cane we wield, so be sure to yield.

Look for the blind as we listen for you.

The white cane is my shepherd's staff.

Give way to the paw, it's the law.

Watch for the wheelchairs, this isn't roller derby.

Those who need to rol Really rock as well.

There are other wheels than cars on the road.

Watch like a hawk for those who walk.
