Congratulations NFB Greater Daytona Beach Chapter for holdingwhat can be considered a nontraditional White Cane Celebration on SaturdayOctober 10, 2015; as President John Weaver addressed the attending participantswhich included the NFB Greater Daytona Beach board & membership, the DeputyMayor of Daytona Beach; Robert Gilliland, Dr. Willie Kimmons PHD well respectcommunity activist who joined forces with the many other participants who cameto get a lesson on NFB Philosophy "Structured Discovery"  as theytook on one of the most dangerous intersections in the city of DaytonaBeach.  There were signs everywhere held up high sending a message thatthis was definitely a White Cane & Pedestrian Safety Day event. Although, there were know tickets issued there was plenty of materials handedout to educate the public on the meaning of NFB & White Cane Law.
