Congratulations to all our members who have been chosen to represent the NFB
of Florida during the Washington Seminar 2017. We have a lot of work to do
and I am confident the best and the brightest have been chosen! I am
especially proud of my wife, Merry Schoch, for being a part of this team.
Together we raise the expectations of the blind because low expectations are
the barriers between blind people and our dreams! Our efforts on the Hill
will lead us still closer to living the lives we want! Blindness is not what
holds us back!

Greetings My Fellow Federation Family,

We, the members of the national Federation of the Blind have traveled
through the halls of the Capital Hill for quite some time addressing
different issues. The 2017 Washington Seminar is fast approaching, and will
be held January 30th through February 1st.

On behalf of the Scholarship committee, I thank all who applied, and
encourage everyone to continue to grow the movement in their local area.
