Please join the Division of Blind Services as we continue to celebrate 75 years of fostering independence for blind and visually impaired Floridians on Thursday, July 28, from 12-6 p.m. at Florida SouthWestern State College’s Lee Campus in For Myers.

>>
>> Join us for fun and informative educational sessions, business networking opportunities and a technology/community expo. A 12 p.m. business luncheon will be open for those businesses and organizations interested in learning more about the benefits of hiring individuals with visual impairments and other disabilities. This free family-friendly event will also feature educational sessions, fun sensory activities and games for kids ages 6-13.
>>
>> The 75th Anniversary Ceremony, beginning promptly at 4:30 p.m., will feature current and former DBS client testimonials, as well as guest speakers who have been influential throughout DBS' history. We will also recognize the latest recipients of the Division's "Successful 75" Award. This initiative honors individuals, organizations and businesses that have remained steadfast in the advancement of independence for persons who are blind and visually impaired in Florida.
