Hi Carlos, 
I know your Federation Family here in Florida are pleased to hear from you.
It is good to know that things are going well for you and Alicia. How is
Zina adjusting to her new home? Usually our Seeing Eye Dogs are very
adaptable. Do stay in touch and call me regularly to provide details on the
things you are doing in your job training. All of this is very interesting
to me. Tom and I miss you though!

Good morning to my federation family. For those of you who do not know,
three weeks ago I started my new job with the Iowa Department for the Blind.
As with any new job and moving to a new State there have been some
challenges in terms of transition to living in a new State.  I am doing
well, and I am really enjoying the people that I am working with.  I wanted
to  wish the new board the best of luck as you all continue to do the work
of the National Federation of the Blind  in the Sunshine State.  As for my
job I am in the process of completing training for at least two months
before  I start my new job.  I will continue to keep you all posted on my
progress as I complete training.  May you all have a wonderful week.
