Good Morning Fellow Federationists,

Hope you are having a marvelous Monday!!!  We are starting a new group in Florida and the national office for Blind Parents.  So, please read and if this is of interest to you or someone you may know, please share.


Blind Parents in Florida!!!

Are you a blind parent or do you know someone who is and would be interested in being a mentor to other blind parents, or know a blind parent who is new to parenting and nervous or has many questions as to how they will be able to do certain tasks as a blind parent???  If so, please refer them to visit blind parents.org and sign up for the National Federation of the Blind Mentoring Program.  We are looking for Mentors and Mentees.

In addition, here in Florida, we are looking to meet and get to know the blind parents we have in our affiliate.  We are planning a meet and greet  at state convention, and want you to be there.  If you are a blind parent or expecting blind parent, please plan to attend our state convention in Tampa from May 25th through May 28th.  We want to get to know you.
