None are so blind or so deaf  as those who do not see and hear that which is dependent upon action. 

The best way for me  to say thank you for your life saving  action, Sherri, is for me to always remember the  Federation’s  family  language of Love, hope and determination.

I first briefly met Don at state conventions.   We met again on the LYNX  spending many hours in   great conversation heading back to our condo after  long days at  the NFB national convention.

   It mattered not weather time with Don was brief or hours,  he is a great conversationalist and a good family Federationist.  

Good thoughts  and lots of prayer go for Don’s full and speedy  recovery.     Brooke

Subject: Today's meeting update

Hello fellow members of the NFBCFC and friends, At today's chapter meeting we got both good and bad news:
1. We want to congratulate Amanda on being selected as a state and national scholarship winner. Amanda, we are so proud of you and wish you continued success in your education and hope these awards will come in handy.
2. We also want to congratulate Marinela on getting a job in Daytona Beach at the Rehab. center. We also want to thank her for all she has done on the fund-raising committee, and when she does move there, we hope she will find happiness and success. She told us that she will probably join that chapter and leave us.
3. We had some people join our chapter today and I will mention them in the minutes of today's meeting later.
4. We have 3 members going to state convention this year: Marilyn, Tanya D. and Amanda Lannan. Many more will attend the national convention in July.
5. Sherri will be traveling to San Diego to visit her two grandchildren and her youngest son, Rhett as he celebrates his 21st.
birthday on May 30th. We wish her safe travels.
6. Now for not so good news: Don Wilkerson is in the hospital at ORMC as a result of diabetic issues. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers slowly and hope he will be back with us soon.
Well, that's about all for now, but I will keep all abreast of Don's recouperation as I find out.
