VOICE DREAM DOES OCR!
OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition, which is the ability to detect and recognize text in an image. With the purchase of a new app, Voice Dream Scanner, OCR features become available in Voice Dream Reader on the same device:
* Scan paper documents using the camera and save as PDF in your library. The PDF will work as if it contains text. Tap on "+" and "Scanner".
* Load existing PDF files with scanned images and recognize text in those images. After opening the file, go to "Document Menu" and tap on "Perform OCR".
Voice Dream Scanner is also a standalone app, which is useful for making a quick scan and listen using text-to-speech without saving, or saving to other locations.
