[Nfbf-l] legislative update

Dear Florida Federation Family,

I realize I did not send out legislative information for our members to
contact legislators while the Florida delegation was on the Hill.
Unfortunately, I was ill and participated in the event but was not up for
much more. I am feeling better now and I appreciate your understanding.
Since at this time, none of the legislative issues have bill numbers to go
with them, only model text which we do not currently have, I will wait until
we get bill numbers to ask for action from Florida members.

The Florida delegation represented our members with professionalism and
style. I am very proud of the newest members of the team.  It was evident
they studied and were prepared to meet with our legislators.  Our teams have
reported receiving positive feedback from the legislators we met with. I am
looking forward to reporting the progress as we move forward with our
federal legislation. Camille will be providing updates as our state
legislation progresses. Camille is doing great work on this front!
