[Nfbf-l] Blind Parents Connect Meeting

Good Afternoon,

I hope this finds you all well.  I wanted to inform you that our meeting schedle3d for Tuesday February 12, 2019 will be cancelled.  We were planning to have a guest speaker to discuss Home Schooling your children.  Unfortunately, our guest speaker will not be able to attend our meeting tomorrow.

Our meeting will take place on March 12, 2019 at 9pm.I am so excited to have our guest discuss her personal experience with Home Schooling her children.  Both her and her husband are blind and their children are sighted.  It will be a very exciting conversation to learn how they are able to access the materials their children need in order to complete their assignments.  In addition, she will discuss the barriers that they have faced due to their blindness and how they have overcome them.

In addition, we are still in the planning stages for our 2019 State Convention.  Therefore, I need suggestions and ideas as to what you all want us to do at convention as it relates to the Blind Parents Connect Group.  Please contact me off line and directly to share your ideas with me.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Please share with anyone you know who may be interested in joining our call in March.
