The President of the Florida School For The Deaf And The Blind Announces Retirement Dr. Prickett, the 17th president of the Florida School for The Deaf and The Blind, recently announced her retirement.

St. Augustine, FL: Dr. Prickett, the 17th president of the Florida School for The Deaf and The Blind, (FSDB) announced her retirement at a Board of Trustees Meeting. She will retire from her position, effective on July 31, 2020.

Dr. Prickett served as the 17th president of the school since May 1, 2012, according to the FSDB’s website. The Board of Trustees of the school directed the President’s Advisory Team to take over the school’s day to day operations. Julia Mintzer, the administrator of Business Service at the school, will lead the team until the 18th president takes Dr. Prickett’s position before the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
