I'm sure this comes as no surprise, it was just a matter of time...

Good morning everyone,
Yesterday afternoon at 5:00 Director Doyle requested a phone meeting with
all agency supervisors and directors. Due to the spread of the COVID 19
virus, we were informed that the Department of Education has decided to
close all DBS offices state wide, including the Rehabilitation Center and
the Braille and Talking Book Library at the end of today, March 18th.
Office closures will be through April 15. We expect to return to work on
April 16th. I will maintain contact with the state office and will share
any updated information as needed. I will also be responding to emails.
Closure notifications are being placed on the agency website, including a
notice on the Library website. Our subregional libraries have been
contacted regarding this information. NLS has been contacted also. If
there are any questions, I will be glad to assist.
Thank you and take care,
Jim Woolyhand
