Subject: Tamika Butts

Good Morning,

I was hoping to share this with you after the scheduled Treasure Coast meeting this Saturday, so I could share in private with the chapter, but it was forwarded in an email.

It is wit a heavy heart that I share with you that Tamika Butts passed away on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at 12:21pm.  

Tamika had been in and out of the hospital but was doing wel for a while.  She went back in about a month ago and has had several surgeries.  She had surgery last Wednesday and AAAs hoping this was going to be the last one.  She was in great spirit as we new her, ad her only concern was to get home to her Daddy.  If you new Tamika, you new her love for her Daddy was out of this world.

She lost her mother 11 months ago and he been caring for her Daddy.  He has Alzheimer’s and is not doing well.  She was only concerned about getting home, because she said, he was beginning his transition and she did not want him to die alone.

Arrangements have not been made for Tamika as of yet, but when I get details, I will forward them.

Please keep Tamika’s brother Bernard in your thoughts and prayers, as he is handling a great deal on his plate at this time.  Also, Mr. Butts was admitted to the hospital yesterday, as he is not eating and responding.  Please keep the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Also, I ask that you please keep my family and I in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, as Tamika and her family were very near and dear to us and excepted us into their family.
