[NFBF-L] Fwd: Passibg of Tamika Butts

This is very shocking news! My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends. Her energy, dedication and personality will definitely be missed. Her personality and voice would bring such fun to our state convention. She had a voice that could never be forgot and she was such a good audible sign. I would always joke with her as I walk past and say, don’t yell at me! And she would reply, is that Greg? And I would say no, and then she would ask someone else if I was Greg. The other person would reply I don’t know who he is. Then I would say, bye Felicia. And we all start laughing until the next time I came across her as an audible sign. I eventually told her my name was Scott. I also was holding a breakout session for applications on an iPhone. And the group was kind of rowdy, she stepped right in to that room and with her powerful voice commanded them to settle down and listen up. And everyone did immediately. And I told her, thanks Felicia. And we started laughing again. Tamika said it’s you! And I said yes the one in only. We would do this all the way through convention. Unfortunately I did not get to know her on more of a personal level, but if I did, I’m sure that we would get along just fine. And be friends. I hope you could smile from this little memory of mine. This is just some proof of just how small acts of kindness can leave lasting memories. My condolences to everyone and R.I.P. Tamika butts
