[NFBF-L] Interesting opportunity

This is interesting. I travel often by train from Orlando to Tampa and when we pass Lakeland, I get a notice on my phone that Goodmaps is available. Would love to attend the event, but no way to get there. Sounds interesting. Goodmaps was available in the Sheridan Hotel during the last New Orleans convention.

 We are excited to invite you to GoodMaps Community Day at Lakeland Linder International Airport  (LAL) on June 17th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST.

This launch event is a collaboration between Lakeland International and GoodMaps. Our goal is to raise awareness about a new navigational system now available at LAL, powered by GoodMaps’ advanced computer vision-based wayfinding technology.

During the event, you can try the GoodMaps app at LAL and share your feedback directly with the GoodMaps and Lakeland teams. From 11:00-11:30 there will be remarks from the GoodMaps' team and airport officials.  >From 11:30-1:00 there will be live demos of the GoodMaps' app.

We welcome local community groups and partners interested in accessible travel solutions for individuals who may be blind or have low vision, deaf, hard of hearing, neuro-diverse, or individuals with mobility challenges.  The app has multiple languages, so non English speakers are welcome.
