[NFBF-L] "WITH DEEPPEST SYMPATHY" Mrs. Arlene Naulty

The passing of Joe and Arlene Naulty leaves me saddened and inspired.
Saddened by the loss of two friends, but inspired by their relationship and
their dedication to the NFB.

 

I recall Joe, blind and deaf, telling of restoring cars.  One evening,
finishing work, he proudly drove the car back into the garage independently
having paced the way out using his white cane.  Arlene was such a supporter
of his independence. 

 

Myself, now completely blind and losing my hearing, am inspired by them.
