Greetings:
We will be together at our National Convention in Austin, Texas in just a
few short weeks! For those who will not be able to be with us in person,
there is an opportunity for you to be part of our state caucus. Our caucus
at convention serves multiple purposes, including welcoming any
first-timers, gathering together during the excitement of convention and to
share important information related to convention. This is also the
opportunity for the delegation to decide how Florida will vote on
resolutions at the convention, if necessary.
The Florida Caucus will be on Monday, July 6 at 8 p.m. Central/7 p.m.
Eastern. While caucuses are usually intended for in-person attendees, we
will make every effort to have a virtual component so members at home can
have the opportunity to weigh in on our delegation vote for resolutions. A
Zoom will be created for that purpose.
Please note: While we will make every effort to include a virtual component,
this may not be possible, given the availability of a strong internet
connection. The workshop spaces do not include hotel wifi or streaming
capabilities, so the connection may not be strong.
Zoom information will be provided closer to the convention opening.
