[NFBF-L] Meeting Reminder: Florida Statewide Chapter will be at the Affiliate Open Board Meeting

Hello Statewide Advocates,


Just a friendly reminder that the Statewide Chapter will not be meeting at
our usual time or Zoom room. Instead, we are encouraging all of our members
to attend the affiliate open board meeting. This will give all our members
the opportunity to see the Florida affiliate board at work, ask questions,
and be more involved on an affiliate level. If you have any questions,
don't hesitate to reach out to statewide at nfbflorida.org.
After the meeting ends, I will be sending an email with announcements. In
addition, I will be out of town from June 30th to July 2nd as I will be in
Maryland again for a second round of interviews for a job. Expect any
inquiries between those dates to be answered within 48-72 hours.


For those of you going to national convention, have a great time, and I
highly encourage everyone, regardless of attendence, to listen to the
general sessions. They will be streamed on Youtube, and they give a high
overview of the work we are doing across the federation.


I hope to see all of you at the affiliate open board meeting, and let's
continue to build the National Federation of the Blind. Zoom details and

Following the meeting adjournment, attendees will be unmuted.

•             Each attendee will have the opportunity to ask one question.
Once everyone has had an opportunity to ask their question and if time
permits, we may allow for additional questions.

•             Please be patient. We significantly reduce our agenda for the
open board meetings and try to keep it within one hour, but depending upon
the topics discussed, it may not be possible.
