I do not have words. I am so very sorry about Natalie’s passing. I got to work with her and know her at our last state convention. She was a tireless worker and certainly was helpful and kind to me and all those she worked with. She was a true friend and a valued person in all her roles in the NFB of Florida. My condolences and prayers for peace and healing go out to all who knew and loved Natalie. Natalie, you will be missed. You will never be forgotten.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations
of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
Together with love, hope, and determination, we transform dreams into reality

Subject: [NFBF-Tampa] Passing of our fellow Member
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend and fellow Federationist, Natalie Williams.
Natalie faithfully served as the Treasurer of the Florida Association of Blind Students and as Board Member #1 of the NFB of Florida Statewide Chapter. Beyond her leadership roles, Natalie was one of our greatest supporters and allies. She believed in our mission, championed our members, and generously gave her time, heart, and talents to strengthen both our student division and statewide chapter. Her dedication, kindness, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our organization touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
Yesterday afternoon, we received the heartbreaking news that Natalie had been pronounced brain dead. At this time, we do not know the exact circumstances surrounding her passing, and we ask that everyone respect the family’s privacy as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Please keep Natalie’s family, loved ones, and especially her boyfriend, Jose Bojorquez, in your thoughts and prayers. Jose serves as the Secretary of our Statewide Chapter and is the Immediate Past President of the Florida Association of Blind Students. This is an unimaginable loss, and we ask that you keep him close in your hearts during the days ahead.
Jose has shared that if you would like to reach out to offer your condolences or support, he asks that you please do so beginning Wednesday, July 1, to allow him and the family some time to process this tremendous loss.
We will continue to share updates as additional information becomes available.
On behalf of the Florida Association of Blind Students and the NFB of Florida Statewide Chapter, we extend our deepest condolences to everyone who loved Natalie. May we honor her memory by carrying forward the passion, service, compassion, and unwavering support she gave to our Federation family.
Rest in peace, Natalie. Your legacy of service, friendship, and advocacy will never be forgotten.
