[nfbmi-talk] Maintenance Policy

Hi,

I do not disagree. As I said it is doubtful that the reg is wrong, but
certainly not impossible. For my part, I think we need to simply say it the
way we want it and let them disagree. Now, I hear 2 items, assessment and
college room and board that need to be specifically addressed in our
suggested draft. Are there any more? It is easier to put them in now than
at or after state convention.

Thanks.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

Elizabeth is right here! The agency is to cover all of the costs associated
with diagnostic and evaluative services. All means all. Travel, lodging,
meals and such like are not often a part of these services, but on the
occasions when they are, the DSU (service providing agency) provides costs
to cover them.

At least...that is my considered opinion.
Christine

Hello Fred,

What concerns me is the link between maintenance and assessment for
services. If the Commission is suppose to be responsible for providing
assessment services as a non-comparable benifet, then why would assessment
services need to be a part of maintenance?
